About Us | Mission

The BrightStart mission sounds rather simple. It is: To create a comprehensive and integrated early childhood system in Louisiana that ensures families and communities provide young children (0-5 years) with opportunities for optimal emotional, social, physical and cognitive development.

But as you can imagine, it will take a lot of effort and support—from the state government, parents, businesses and fellow Louisianans—to reach our goals.
